And the good news is…

…that this week’s round of labs caught that my potassium had bottomed out at 2.9 again. Which is not normal, and which can be really bad if untreated. I’m getting good at being able to tell when it’s low – my heart starts randomly pounding and I get dizzy a lot.

The idea was that for the duration of the testing, I was going to be off all meds, including the giant potassium supplements I usually take. That experiment lasted less than a month. The end result? Giant potassium supplements twice a day, instead of only once. Sigh.
